Love this girl!

Matthew 7:24-27

Building on a Solid Foundation

24 “Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock. 25 Though the rain comes in torrents and the floodwaters rise and the winds beat against that house, it won’t collapse because it is built on bedrock. 26 But anyone who hears my teaching and doesn’t obey it is foolish, like a person who builds a house on sand. 27When the rains and floods come and the winds beat against that house, it will collapse with a mighty crash.”

I love her but I really like her and am excited to one day be her friend. But just as Keli said, I do not like everything else that comes with growing up. Like mean girls and mean moms! Teaching them how to control emotions while working through life as a kind, humble, respectful and owning up to our mistakes. How sad to have to go through life with an attitude like a predator and missing the "big" picture. Once again, this has brought me to my knees and I see our kids like little sponges from who they are guided by. So thankful for her teacher, for water polo and the coaches, for rock harbor where she is on band and in a small group. She will one day grow up, its happening, but this house will be built on solid rock!

Happy birthday boo!

This sweet girl of ours is N I N E today! She brings me to my knees daily because I am so thankful for her. She has gifts of kindness, patience, love, sensitivity and so many more. She loves soccer but rather be at the beach, cuddled with a book or reading aloud to her sisters. She still wakes up and wants to be held and snuggled while I run her hot bath. Yea, she has me wrapped! Her favorite things also include dates with her daddy. Her hopes and dreams are to be a mama or a teacher. We love you, Bella Bean, booboo, Beaner, Bella-ru, Cinda-bella and the list goes on.

Rose Bowl

Why not wake up on 3 hours of sleep and go to the antique swap meet with little to no cash?

Gotta love the overpriced pillows, so inspiring to me. Why you ask? Because a mom here buys the printed fabric, the linen and pillow forms from ebay, makes and sells them. Good for her!
This is the place for rugs.

Need this large vase!

Loved these $15 baskets and the vintage trim was calling my name. I was imaging this wrapped around a lamp shade or around my uggs. To hippy?
Kinda creepy but Lilah loved this picture of the old dolls
And this was the mother load of all things yummy.
Till next time Rose Bowl we'll meet again and hopefully with some spending money.

Going Horizontal

Phase 1
This man is so good at all he does. He is the hardest working person i know and loves us so much. Im so thankful for him. Forced to redo our 10+ year fence and by making it more cost effective we kept the post's, sanded them and went horizontal.

We were inspired by the fence at the OC Mart mix and Uncle T is helping with the landscape. There's going to be a couple benches and some other surprises. Always fun to hang out in front yard while the kids bike and neighbors pop in.

So awesome having a hubby make our dreams come true. He even took Sofia under the house to do pipe stuff. I only wish I had a picture of the dusty duo.

We went through all the weathers and the girls loved it, especially the mud.

The rain came but didn't stop our great neighbors and Jeff's fam to come and help. Thanks Donny, Trent, Tim, Travis, Grandad and Filemon.

To be continued and I'm freaking out and excited with the plans.
