I was so excited when I opened my door today to find a little treat on
my door. It was my Holiday Scones from Heidi Fox. Although you might
think scones are just scones, these are special. Besides the amazing
taste of white chocolate chips, dried cranberries, maybe a hint of
almond and some type of sweet smooth glaze finished with silvered
almonds, these scones are going to a good cause. She has a few
charities that they money will be going to. Give her a call or email
her and get some soon!

Returning
Celebrating Bella Eve on her 5th birthday.
Burnin' up the New Years Eve night in the desert with some of our great friends.
Precious Lilah Dahl getting sweeter with each day. We are so IN LOVE!
Attempting a picture at Fashion Island. The girls were in awe, the tree was spectacular.
What do I say after returning from a 3 month vacation to journal (blogging)? Our newest angel is complete heaven and I am sad I haven't wrote down some special times. Time is going by so fast and I already miss her sleeping on my chest for hours. Now, its down to bed like clock work, get used to the naps and routine, here we go. Love the upcoming winter days and cozy outfits but anxious for our beach days this summer. I wish I could post every picture of our sweet Lilah Dahl or the girls smooching on her but that would just take hours. Here are a few from the past couple months.

Playing Around
Sofia and Bella went to skate night with Jen (thanks sweet friend!)
and looks like Rubi got a little lonley. We were laughing at
everything she was bring out for Lilah, especially the Pollu Pockets.

It only takes a minute.
I let her run wild these days. In a matter of time she has managed to
dress up, then down, take out books and magazines, try on mine, Fifi
and Daddy's shoes, spill her cheerios and walk all over them. Wow, it
must be fun being two but sure makes her sleepy.

Adjusting?
Yes, I would say we are! I just have to shout out a huge THANK YOU to all our parents, family and friends who have helped in so many ways. You know who you are and we thank God every night for you all. Carpool, meals and just all that extra love, its been so great! Tonight after baths, we rocked out to Taylor Swift and had Girl Scout Samoa ice cream (thanks for the new addiction Kara!) I would say we are adjusting well.

Hospital Pics
There are a ton of pictures here. The funny thing is we have so many more. With every baby I have these super hot mom pics. I just had to show off my fabulous gown from my girl, Andrea. She was so sweet and dropped this black and white cheetah hospital gown off at my door. All the nurses loved it and people were coming in saying are you the patient with the cute gown. I would have to show them the buttons and the whole get up. Check out her website at http://www.shopbyog.com Thanks again Andrea, you're the best!
Jeffy getting to know his new girl.
My mom and I dressed her up and made her look super cute.
Even though Rubi didn't come it was exciting to see the big girls with their new baby sis.
They were immediately in love at first sight.
We decided she looks a lot like Bella with Sofia's lips and Rubi's hair on her ears and shoulders. Hopefully that stuff will fall off!
We have the greatest friends and family ever! A big handful of them were able to come and give us some love. I'm so bummed of those who visited like Grandy, Uncle Bryan, Aunt Jojo, Gg and Gpops who didn't get a snapshot for the memories. Here are some of our visitors... Heidi, Jen and Kelly (my cupcakes were so yummy!)
Mimi and Papa Jim (thanks for the beautiful flowers!)
Uncle Greyson, Papa and Camden (Grandy had a cold)
Angie and Shawn

First Day of School
Our big girls! I can remember, it was a 6:45am wake up call and the whole house had smiles. Can it be like this everyday?
The backpacks are huge on them but they insist.
Bella found Mrs. Green, her teacher, and gave her a big squeeze and said bye mommy and daddy. She was off and lovin' every second.
Sofia also had to hunt Ms. Arbuzow down and give her a big hug. But, she asked to hold her hand to calm her nerves and also asked us to hang with her. These kids came from the same parents???
Rubi couldn't stand her sissy leaving her. Daddy had to peel her off and that was our cue to leave.
This is the second day of school, just as excited as the first day. I'm so thrilled how this year has started out and can't wait to see whats in store for us.

Behind and Out of Order
I have an excuse to be behind and out of order, right? I thought I better put these up or they'll be out of sight out of mind in no time. Just like all those beautiful summer days and awesome pictures that never made it. I've said before I do this "blog thing" to remind us of some really great times in the Rice home. I am no quite caught up of my scrap booking (although, its on my list for this year) so this is mostly for us but I sure hope you enjoy!
Be Prepared! We got this idea from an online family who we have just fell in love with. They have an amazing story and if time, please read about them. http://www.nieniedialogues.blogspot.com/ Granny, Grandad, Mimi and Papa, Travis, Brook and their girls and us prepared for school which was the next day. Bella was thrilled for kindergarten and Sofia was a bit nervous to start 2nd grade but still very excited.
We made signs and yummy food to go along with the theme. It was all very fun, especially since the big girls weren't home and it was all a big surprise.
We had a few fashion shows on what the girls were going to wear during the first week. Little Rubi Joy had to be apart of the whole thing too.
In between they had to break off and play with their cousins. Yes, another one of my kids in panties.
