PALM SPRINGS

Our friends have a time share at Shadow Ridge so we were lucky enough to use there pool which is more like a little water park with a small alligator that was swimming with us, gross!

Practically no rules on this slide made the lines so fast. The girls and I went down all together and belly laughed as we tumbled in the water together. I loved this day!
Sunshine girl! She is a dream child full of grace and love. I love how Bella wants to adopt a child, home school her kids and own an orphanage. We'll see how this turns out but so thankful for her.

Only ones at the Ace on a Tuesday night made the front desk girls freaked out over team Rice. They gave them special treats and behind the scene privileges.

Missing Heffe and Sofia here because of water polo commitments.
LOVED our time away!

RIVER CHICKS

Its not very often a family of 3 asks a family of 6 to come stay at there 2 bedroom home but they took a chance on us!
Five days of sunshine and rest, thank you Heidi and Tim!

Weather was hot and we were in suits, kinda my dream since the day I put a sweatshirt on.

 Major love for these girls

Yum food, great neighbors, good convo's, lots of laughs, always a great time.

Memories! I'm so grateful!

I'm so thankful for these four and although we do yell and laugh in our home, the smiles are way better to focus on. We're SO BLESSED God gave them to us and we will boast about it and display it. Now onto picking the pic's.

Love this girl!

Matthew 7:24-27

Building on a Solid Foundation

24 “Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock. 25 Though the rain comes in torrents and the floodwaters rise and the winds beat against that house, it won’t collapse because it is built on bedrock. 26 But anyone who hears my teaching and doesn’t obey it is foolish, like a person who builds a house on sand. 27When the rains and floods come and the winds beat against that house, it will collapse with a mighty crash.”

I love her but I really like her and am excited to one day be her friend. But just as Keli said, I do not like everything else that comes with growing up. Like mean girls and mean moms! Teaching them how to control emotions while working through life as a kind, humble, respectful and owning up to our mistakes. How sad to have to go through life with an attitude like a predator and missing the "big" picture. Once again, this has brought me to my knees and I see our kids like little sponges from who they are guided by. So thankful for her teacher, for water polo and the coaches, for rock harbor where she is on band and in a small group. She will one day grow up, its happening, but this house will be built on solid rock!

Iphone Foto's

Do you ever got the feeling that your iPhone gets bombed by photos? Its a fact here. Since our kids don't have camera's or iTouch's they bomb mine. I kinda love going through them though.
I'm sure Bella took this pic of the lunches because she is usually my helper in that area. She must of been very pleased with herself.
I assume Rubi took the ikea pic while sitting in the baby seat of the cart while I was dreaming over the lamp which was out of stock. And Sofia took the picture of Lilah at Pretend City because I allowed her to instagram it. She is the best instagramer btw.
We are so blessed to attend the most beautiful parties. Besides Pretend City which all 5 of us were treated to, this Indian Princess party was so pretty!

I love this one of Sofia on key's at worship for middle school. Her life group leader sent it to me because Sofia asked me to not stay…tear.

And these again are from Sofia. Love her creative bug. How beautiful are the Heavens?!

And this LOVE here at day 2 of her life turned 4 today. Another tear! That new tender baby smell is locked in memory and I miss it. How can I even thank God for her the proper way? Happy birthday Lilah Dahl!
